OMAHA (KPTM)- A father of nine is dead and nobody is talking about who killed him. Willie Hill was gunned down Tuesday in Omaha. His family can only hope someone has enough courage to come forward.
Friday Willie Hill's children found comfort in making him notes and cards telling him they miss and love him.
Hill was one of two men shot near 41st and Ames. He had also been shot about ten years ago in a drive- by.
To give families like Hill's answers, community activists say they hope to work with businesses in areas prone to violence to put cameras on the outsides of the buildings to either deter the violence, or catch those behind it.
Members of the anti-violence group Impact One say they plan to introduce the security camera idea to the city in the next few weeks.
