Woman Accused of Shooting Paramedic Wanted in Sarpy County

OMAHA (KPTM)- An Omaha paramedic is recovering after being shot by a patient that he was taking to the hospital.

Just after 3:00 Monday afternoon police were called to 42nd and Center. Police said a paramedic was shot while taking a woman to the hospital. Police said the paramedic was responding to a report of a seizure.

The paramedic was treated and released. The woman who is accused of shooting him is in fair condition.

Police identified her as Justine Dubois. They said she gave police different names.

She arrested in Sarpy County in 2013. Investigators said charged her with Criminal Impersonation. They said she gave police a wrong name during a traffic stop. Police said she also failed to appear in court.
