BELLEVUE (KPTM) - The Bellevue Police Department needs your help in searching for a pair of suspects who burglarized a local high school.
Surveillance video released by police shows two people walking into Bellevue East High School. Authorities say it happened around 3:00 and 4:00 A.M. We're told the duo made off with three laptops, a camera and an undisclosed amount of cash.
It's an incident that has neighbors living nearby fearful the vandals could strike again.
"It makes you feel kind of on edge," said nearby resident Ted Strominger. "You don't know if something like this is going to happen in your home or if the next time it happens it has violence attached to it."
Police estimate the school suffered $20,000 worth of damage because of the thieves.
If you have any information about the crime you're urged to call the Bellevue Police Department right away.
