Stolen Car Spike Leaves North Omaha Woman Wondering What To Do

OMAHA (KPTM)- "They took my credit cards, my wallet, my car and unfortunately my kids' social security cards were in there too," said Scentara Brewer of North Omaha.

She left her car running because it was a cold day three weeks ago and she dropped off her kids at daycare.

"I was in there for two minutes and when I came out my car was gone."

She had to purchase a new car with little money to spare so she could safely travel with three young children.

"They used my credit card at the Hy-Vee in Plattsmouth and at the Rice Bowl on Saddle Creek.

It was one incident in a rash of stolen cars reported over the past month.

If anyone knows anything about the stolen car, which is a charcoal 2002 Buick Rendezvous, you are asked to  call Omaha Police
