North Omaha Shooting Leaves One Dead, Two Critically Hurt

OMAHA (KPTM) - A deadly shooting in North Omaha  left one person dead and two others critically hurt.

It happened near 30th and Ames Streets around 3:30 Thursday afternoon.  Officers had a large portion of the area blocked off to traffic as they investigated what happened.

Police tell us the three victims were were hit by bullets at separate locations, but it's still unclear what prompted the shooting.

26-year-old Lamar King was pronounced dead at the scene.

Two others, 18-year-old Marcus Johnson and 19-year-old Johnnie Wilson are in critical condition at a local hospital.
